Julie and I went to Opp on Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 24, to be tested for Covid. We both chickened out but because she had seen a video on the test swabs earlier. Susan and Steven were mortified about our not getting our tests. We went on to a walk-in clinic behind the hospital. After a not-so-lengthy wait, we were both tested. And were both positive for the coronavirus. We started our ten-day quarantine when we got home. Our quarantine will end at 5PM on Friday, September 3rd. So far, the symptoms haven't been bad, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I do worry that I am in a high risk group. (I'm 66 years old). I do remember not long after this pandemic came about, probably March 2020, someone said, "It's not if you get the coronavirus, but WHEN you get it." It took from January 2020 until August 2021 for me to get it. I am hoping for the best. It is as I have said before, I may die from coronavirus, but I will not die from a covid shot. Non-compliant? You bet your last dollar bill, yes! Update: 2 Days Later. Julie and I had our anti-body infusion. They say we'll feel better tomorrow, but I still haven't figured out who exactly "they"
is. More later. The best way I can describe covid is that it is a really bad sinus infection.
